Remote Pharmaceutical Data Scientist

• Design and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large-scale datasets from clinical trials, genomic studies, and real-world evidence.
• Develop predictive models for drug efficacy, patient stratification, and treatment response.
• Collaborate with biologists, chemists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians to define data analysis requirements and interpret findings.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights within pharmaceutical data to guide strategic R&D decisions and optimize drug development pathways.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytical workflows using Python, R, SQL, and other relevant data science tools.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and pharmaceutical research, applying novel techniques to solve challenging problems.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and best practices for data management and analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and project teams, influencing the direction of research and development efforts.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, Num Py, scikit-learn, Tensor Flow/PyTorch).
• Strong experience with SQL and working with relational databases; familiarity with No

• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical modeling, machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning), and experimental design.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of biological and/or clinical data, and the drug discovery/development process.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
