• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and technologies across the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Develop and execute security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing forensic analysis when necessary.
• Develop and manage security awareness training programs for employees.
• Monitor security systems and networks for suspicious activities and potential breaches.
• Implement and manage security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of system design and development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related security role.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, data security, application security, and cloud security principles.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell) for automation is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment, managing your own schedule effectively.
