Remote Security Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and automate security processes and tooling for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards for cloud deployments.
• Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations in cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud security posture and implement necessary remediation actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with cloud security best practices, threats, and technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in cloud security engineering, specifically with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, network security, and data protection.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security monitoring and logging tools in a cloud context.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly valued.
