Remote Real Estate Data Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Real Estate Data Analyst to join their innovative team. This fully remote position will focus on leveraging data to provide actionable insights into the real estate market. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets related to property transactions, market trends, and economic indicators. The ideal candidate is proficient in data analysis tools and techniques and has a passion for uncovering patterns and trends within the real estate sector.

This role is crucial for informing our client's strategic decisions and enhancing their market positioning, offering significant impact without the need for physical office presence. This role is based in the Midrand, Gauteng region but is performed entirely remotely.

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources, including market reports, public records, and internal databases.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify market trends, patterns, and correlations within real estate data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and market insights.
• Utilize data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to extract and analyze information.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to inform business strategy, investment decisions, and marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data privacy regulations.
• Research and stay updated on emerging trends in data analytics and the real estate industry.
• Communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on the real estate sector preferred.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages like Python or R is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and data sources.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
