Lead Data Scientist; Remote

This senior role is responsible for guiding the company's data science initiatives, mentoring a team of data scientists, and driving the development of advanced analytical models and machine learning algorithms. • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, overseeing project execution and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated machine learning models and analytical solutions.
• Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
• Develop and deploy predictive models for forecasting, personalization, and recommendation engines.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define data science requirements and integrate solutions.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the development of the team's technical roadmap and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data science capabilities.

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully applying data science techniques to solve real-world business problems, preferably in e-commerce or related fields.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
