Remote Cloud Network Architect

Our client, a global leader in telecommunications technology, is looking for an exceptional Remote Cloud Network Architect to join their expanding virtual team. • Architect, design, and implement robust cloud network solutions across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define and enforce network security policies and best practices within cloud environments.
• Develop strategies for network connectivity, including VPC/VNet design, transit gateways, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud networking technologies and services.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues within the cloud infrastructure and provide rapid resolution.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services with the cloud network.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network architecture documentation and diagrams.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud networking best practices and emerging trends to internal stakeholders.

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in network architecture and design, with at least 5 years focused specifically on cloud networking.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing networks on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking constructs: VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity solutions (e.g., Direct Connect, Express Route, VPN Gateway).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) are a significant plus.
