A healthcare-focused organization is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive advanced data science initiatives that translate into real business and clinical outcomes. This role calls for deep expertise in data science principles along with a proven track record of deploying Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.

• Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models, with a focus on Generative AI and LLMs, ensuring their integration into production systems
• Oversee the entire data science project lifecycle, from model conception to deployment and continuous monitoring
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data scientists, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data science projects with business objectives and healthcare regulations
• Evaluate and refine existing models to enhance their predictive accuracy and applicability to healthcare datasets
• Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and relevance

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field
• Minimum of seven years of experience in data science, with a significant focus on healthcare data
• Proven experience in deploying Generative AI/LLM solutions in a production environment
• Strong foundation in machine learning techniques and statistical analysis
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for business meetings

• Master’s Degree preferred
