TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Service Now Platform Architect to join our clients Service Now practice and help drive the strategic evolution of a large-scale, enterprise Service Now environment. This individual will serve as a trusted technical leader, guiding platform direction, architecture decisions, governance, and adoption of Service Now best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings broad Service Now platform expertise, with deep knowledge in at least one of the following areas: ITSM, CSM, or ITOM. While integration experience is beneficial, this role is not centered on integrations. Instead, the focus is on maximizing the value of the Service Now platform through scalable architecture, platform governance, and thoughtful use of out-of-the-box capabilities.

This consultant will partner closely with platform leadership and solution architecture teams to ensure the platform remains scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Service Now's intended design principles.

Demonstrated experience serving as a Service Now Platform Architect responsible for the overall health, scalability, and roadmap of a Service Now environment.

Deep knowledge in at least one of the following Service Now product areas:

• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• IT Operations Management (ITOM)

Strong understanding of Service Now's native capabilities and platform framework. The ideal candidate advocates for leveraging out-of-the-box functionality whenever possible rather than relying heavily on custom development.

Experience establishing architectural standards, governance processes, platform design patterns, and best practices to ensure long-term sustainability of the environment.

Experience supporting complex enterprise Service Now implementations, including large user bases, multiple business units, and mature platform operations.

Ability to evaluate business needs and translate them into scalable platform solutions while balancing technical debt, maintainability, and future platform enhancements.

Ability to work closely with platform leadership, technical teams, developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to align architecture decisions with organizational objectives.

This is a Contract position based out of Davenport, IA.

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
