About the Role

Customer Engineer tasked with driving the adoption of Google Cloud across organizations. The role involves working with clients to simplify, port, and enable collaborative cloud solutions, and supporting those organizations as they integrate Google Cloud services into their operations.

• Recognize and qualify business value opportunities, identify key client pain points, and develop methods to diagnose technical blockers.
• Manage the client relationship, including overseeing product and solution briefings, conducting concept‑validation workshops, and coordinating additional technical resources.
• Work with clients to demonstrate and model Google Cloud solutions, guide them through assessments of their current legacy application environments, and provide prioritization recommendations for application modernization.
• Propose integration approaches, environments, and application architectures that enable the delivery of end‑to‑end solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
• Attend client sites, meetings, and related events as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four‑year certification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• At least two years of experience as a technical specialist, pre‑sales engineer, project manager, or in a client‑facing role.
• Experience in cloud migration, data center relocation, disaster recovery, virtualization, application or server assessment, or release.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.

• MBA or graduate degree in software engineering, design, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with application modernization, architecture, and development of secure, scalable distributed applications.
• Experience with legacy application transformation, cloud operations, and integration.
