IT Support Specialist

Apply your IT support expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contract role focuses on troubleshooting scenarios, incident documentation, and clear guidance for non-technical users. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Use TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN knowledge to address connectivity and configuration incidents.
• Document incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in ITSM or similar ticketing systems.
• Provide empathetic, step-by-step technical guidance to non-technical users.
• Create detailed scenario-based examples, process documentation, and knowledge-base content that reflect IT support best practices.
• Provide well-documented feedback to support AI training and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate asynchronously in a remote setting, delivering high-quality written and verbal feedback.

• At least 3 years of Tier 2 or Tier 3 IT support experience across diverse operating system and network environments.
• Strong hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting skills, including root-cause analysis.
• Experience documenting incidents and resolutions in ITSM or comparable ticketing platforms.
• Proficiency supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly when assisting non-technical end users.
• Ability to develop technical process documentation and knowledge-base materials.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach and comfort working independently in a remote project engagement.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL Foundation certifications are advantageous.

Remote contract engagement.

$30 to $55 per hour.
