We’re looking for a business-minded Commercial Legal Counsel, with approximately 5 years of experience drafting and negotiating customer agreements with leading global and domestic organizations. This legal team member will be a key partner and liaison to other impacted Fivetran departments and stakeholders across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate is a high impact individual contributor who brings strong legal expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to operate independently on commercial matters while working closely with senior members of the Commercial Legal Team.

This is a full-time, remote position based out of our Dublin, Ireland office.

Professional fluency in both English and French is required, as this role will support customers and internal stakeholders across EMEA, including French-speaking markets.

• Review, revise and negotiate commercial contracts with customers and prospects, including customer paper agreements, for the EMEA region
• Serve as one of the designated legal contacts on the EMEA commercial legal team to Fivetran’s EMEA enterprise sales team, including sales team education, training and communications related to any changes to customer agreements
• Serve as one of the primary legal contacts on the commercial legal team, providing strategic guidance and oversight on contracting, enablement, and process improvement initiatives
• Help maintain and update commercial legal team playbooks to help drive alignment with internal stakeholders
• Support key template documents, including periodic revisions and improvements, and help operationalize templates into the contracts management and automation tool
• Liaise with Fivetran’s product team to understand how product updates may impact existing or new customer agreements
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for commercial contract lifecycle management, ensuring efficient review, negotiation, and approval processes
