Nelnet is seeking a Data Engineer to own the data foundation underpinning GenAI solutions for higher education and SLED clients. You will build and maintain data pipelines, classification, and governance on Google Cloud to enable agentic AI.
Working with the GenAI delivery team, you translate requirements into production pipelines, ensure data is structured, access controlled, and FERPA-compliant before AI use. Strong SQL and Python required;
Google Cloud certification preferred.
