IT Manager for AI Training

Apply your IT leadership experience to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input on strategic technology decisions. This remote contract role focuses on bringing practical IT management expertise to structured discussions and written assignments that inform smarter tools for IT professionals. No prior AI experience is required.

• Provide detailed input on IT strategy, systems architecture planning, and infrastructure optimization scenarios.
• Evaluate vendor-management and procurement challenges, including collaboration and system-integration considerations.
• Share real-world recommendations on security compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory standards.
• Review proposed IT solutions and identify gaps or improvement opportunities in their architecture and implementation.
• Contribute best practices for technical-team leadership, knowledge transfer, and upskilling.
• Provide feedback on documentation, workflows, and process designs to improve clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in structured discussions and written assignments that support AI-tool development for IT professionals.

• 5+ years of experience as an IT or Systems Manager, including leadership of technical teams or management of enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, and technology road mapping.
• Experience with vendor management, contract evaluation, and third-party solution integration.
• In-depth knowledge of security-compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, along with risk-management practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication of complex technical concepts.
• Experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals and fostering growth and best practices.
• Ability to assess documentation, workflows, and processes from a holistic IT-management perspective.

Remote, contract engagement.

$60 to $75 per hour.
