Job Description
Company Description Digital Era Consultants is a cybersecurity and AI governance firm built on a single principle: one accountable team from regulation through operations. The organization addresses the full lifecycle of risk, including governance, architecture, engineering, security operations, incident response, and assurance, without fragmented handoffs. As AI reshapes products, decisions, and compliance obligations, Digital Era Consultants helps organizations manage AI risks through structured management systems, not just policies.
The firm supports clients navigating complex regulatory landscapes such as GDPR, NYDFS, HIPAA, and emerging AI regulations, ensuring security and compliance become drivers of growth instead of constraints. Work spans cybersecurity, GRC, data protection, Zero Trust, cloud architecture, secure software engineering, third‑party risk, and security culture.
Role Description The Independent Business Development Partner will focus on expanding Digital Era Consultants’ presence with enterprise and mid-market clients across the United States. This is a remote role, structured as a 1099 contractor engagement with commission-only compensation. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying new prospects, leading discovery conversations, and positioning the firm’s end-to-end cybersecurity, AI governance, and GRC offerings to decision-makers.
The partner will build and manage a sales pipeline, collaborate with consulting teams to shape proposals, and support the structuring of engagements that align with client needs and regulatory requirements. The role also involves relationship management, participation in industry events, and continuous market research to stay ahead of evolving security and AI trends.

- Familiarity with US regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NYDFS, HIPAA, AI regulations) is a plus.
