Senior DevOps Engineer; CI​/CD Specialist

Our client, a dynamic SaaS provider, is looking for an experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD to join their growing team in Vereeniging, Gauteng, ZA. • Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for various applications and services.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Power Shell.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools.
