B&A is seeking a Database Administrator – Microsoft SQL to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Support Services. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this exciting and impactful opportunity.

• Period of Performance: 1 Base + 1 Option Year

Note:

The primary place of performance will be at the contractor’s place of performance and/or Off-Site. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at one of the following DLA sites:
Dayton, OH;
Columbus, OH;
Tracy, CA;
New Cumberland, PA;
Richmond, VA;
Battle Creek, MI; or Philadelphia, PA.

• Administer, maintain, secure and tune SQL Server databases and enterprise database platforms.
• Manage SQL Server Agent, Database Mail, Dynamic Management Views, patching, STIGs and IAVAs, backup and recovery.

• Five years of progressive database query language experience (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS-SQL).
• Three years hands-on relational DBMS experience and at least two large-organization database projects.
• Hands-on SQL Server administration, performance monitoring, patch management and database security.

• One of the following CE:
  Oracle OCP DB 19+; MCSA SQL 2016 DBA; OCP SA; OCI Foundations 2020; or MS Azure DBAA+.
