E-commerce Digital Analyst

Our client, a progressive e-commerce company, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented E-commerce Digital Analyst to join their data-centric team. This fully remote role will focus on tracking, analyzing, and reporting on website performance, user behavior, and campaign effectiveness to drive data-informed decision-making and optimize the online customer journey. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve conversion rates, customer engagement, and overall e-commerce revenue.

The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, expertise in web analytics tools, and a passion for understanding customer behavior in the digital space. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to the success of our client's online business.

• Implement, manage, and maintain web analytics tracking (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) across the e-commerce website and related digital touchpoints.
• Monitor website performance, traffic, user behavior, and conversion funnels, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Develop and generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including traffic sources, conversion rates, bounce rates, and revenue attribution.
• Analyze campaign performance across various digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to measure effectiveness and ROI.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis into user behavior to identify friction points and opportunities for optimization.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to marketing, product, and UX teams to improve website performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define measurement strategies and reporting requirements.
• Perform A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for test variations.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in web analytics and digital data analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analysis efforts.

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Digital Analyst, Web Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on e-commerce.
• Expert proficiency in web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and/or Adobe Analytics.
• Strong understanding of website tracking implementation (e.g., GTM, data Layer).
• Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation and visualization techniques.
• Experience with A/B testing platforms and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a significant plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
