Online Learning Platform Administrator

Our client, a rapidly expanding online education provider, is seeking a dedicated Online Learning Platform Administrator to join their fully remote team. This critical role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure a seamless and effective learning experience for thousands of students and educators worldwide. • Administer and maintain the company's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring its optimal performance and availability.
• Manage user accounts, enrollments, course creation, and content uploads within the LMS.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students, instructors, and administrators regarding platform usage.
• Configure and customize LMS settings, features, and integrations according to organizational needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and training materials for LMS users.
• Monitor system performance, generate reports, and analyze usage data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement software updates, patches, and new features.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the LMS environment.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of new online learning tools and technologies.
• Stay updated on LMS best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in e-learning.

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, D2L).
• Strong technical proficiency with web-based platforms, databases, and general IT principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in managing user data, course content, and reporting functionalities within an LMS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Experience in creating user documentation and training materials.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with the educational technology landscape is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work remotely from South Africa.
