Lead DevOps Engineer; Remote

Our client, a rapidly expanding fintech startup, is looking for a visionary Lead Dev Ops Engineer to spearhead their infrastructure and deployment strategies. • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or CircleCI for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Ensure system security by implementing security best practices and conducting regular vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Mentor and guide junior Dev Ops engineers, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a Dev Ops or SRE role, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
