Remote Senior E-commerce Analyst

Our client, a dynamic and growing e-commerce business, is looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Remote Senior E-commerce Analyst to join their expanding team. This fully remote position will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and optimize the online customer journey. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex e-commerce data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges across various aspects of the online business, including sales, marketing, user experience, and operations.

This role requires a strong aptitude for data interpretation, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce data, including website traffic, sales performance, conversion rates, customer behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to relevant teams.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities for growth and areas requiring improvement.
• Perform A/B testing and other experimental analyses to evaluate the impact of changes to the website, marketing campaigns, and product offerings.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop forecasts and models to predict future sales trends and operational needs.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends, providing insights to inform strategic planning.
• Present complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytical processes.
• Stay current with the latest tools and techniques in data analysis, e-commerce analytics, and business intelligence.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce analytics, digital analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Proven experience in data mining, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Expertise in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, online marketing channels, and customer journey mapping.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate findings to various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
