• Install, configure, and upgrade database server software across various platforms.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure database availability and reliability through robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage database security, including user access control, roles, and permissions.
• Perform regular database maintenance, including patching, index optimization, and data integrity checks.
• Develop and maintain database scripts for routine tasks and automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to assist with database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
