About
The Role
This role exists to design and deploy reliable cloud architecture on Amazon Web Services. You will build systems that follow established cloud best practices and scale safely. The role is primarily asynchronous, so clear documentation of architecture decisions matters as much as the deployments themselves. The team is spread across multiple countries and time zones. Precision and adherence to process are central to this position.
What You'll Do
Design cloud architecture using core Amazon Web Services
Own deployment processes across development and production environments
Configure and maintain networking through Virtual Private Cloud settings
Manage compute resources using EC2 and Lambda
Apply Amazon Web Services best practices across all infrastructure work
What We're Looking For
Strong experience with core Amazon Web Services
Strong experience with cloud architecture design
Proven experience owning deployment processes
Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services best practices
Working knowledge of EC2, RDS, Cloud Front, VPC, S3, and Lambda
Strong written English — our company works in English.
