Our client is seeking an Azure Hardware/Performance Analyst to join their team.

As an Azure Hardware/Performance Analyst, you will be part of the Applications Dev & Test organization.

Remote - Preference for PST Candidates

$47 - $50.hr on Experis W2(Benefits/PTO/401k)

The ideal resume would contain demonstrated performance analysis and hardware/software analysis experience, including knowledge of hardware and evaluating workloads. Analyze and measure key Azure workloads on emerging hardware technologies to determine performance characteristics and fit. Develop tools and leverage AI to support collection, analysis, and organization of performance and workload data. Learn new hardware technologies, run workload evaluations, and report findings to teams with clear, actionable insights.

Collaborate with sponsor and FTE partners through 1–2 rounds of hard skills assessments and ongoing technical discussions. Support successful completion and presentation of workload performance results as a primary measure of contractor performance.

• 2–4 years of experience in Performance Analysis (highly valued).
• 2–4 years of experience in Scripting to automate data collection and analysis workflows.
• 2–4 years of experience working with Workloads (including evaluating workload behavior on hardware).
• Hardware knowledge or hardware/software analysis experience (candidates should not be limited to pure software development).
• Ability to explain a typical day of work through learning new hardware, analyzing workloads, and reporting results.

• Work on leading-edge Azure hardware and workload evaluations that directly inform technology fit decisions.
• Build real‑world expertise in hardware/software tradeoffs through hands‑on performance and workload analysis.
• Contribute to projects focused on emerging technologies, measurement, and data‑driven recommendations.
• Remote work with flexible hours to accommodate time zone variance (within +/- 2–3 hours).
• Potential for extension based on project needs and successful performance.
