Senior Architect

The Senior Architect 2 (SA2) role is a strategic and technical leadership position focused on driving business and IT alignment through architectural guidance, technology evaluation, and modernization initiatives. This role supports multiple business units by creating business capability models, customer journey maps, and facilitating strategic planning to ensure projects adhere to technical standards and enterprise strategy. The position emphasizes expertise in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), cloud services, and digital transformation efforts.

• Facilitate Business and IT strategic planning with senior leadership and business relationship managers.
• Create and maintain IT strategies, technology standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Lead proof of concept initiatives using emerging technologies.
• Conduct market research, technology evaluation, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain a holistic view of organizational strategy, processes, and technology assets.
• Provide architectural input and technical consultation for project implementations.
• Develop enterprise architecture artifacts including business, information, application, and technical architecture models.
• Assess business priorities and develop alternative technical solutions considering risks and benefits.
• Conduct informal learning sessions on strategies and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate across IT teams and business units to ensure alignment and resolve conflicts.
• Support cross-line-of-business enterprise solutions and report project status to program management.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
  Master s degree preferred.
• Five to seven years of IT experience including at least two years in Enterprise Architecture and two years in Solution Architecture.
• Experience leading AI implementations including Generative AI, RPA, and Virtual Assistants.
• Experience providing Enterprise Architecture governance for cloud modernization efforts.
• Technical expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
• Solution Architecture experience with AI and RPA technologies, e.g., UI Path.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and consultative skills with ability to communicate technical and business concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic technology plans, business capability models, and customer journey maps.
• TOGAF certification preferred.

• Experience using ABACUS Enterprise Architecture tool.
• Master s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with technical writing tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, Visio, and SharePoint.

• Candidate must be located preferably in Ohio or within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
• Remote position with remote interviews.
• Strict prohibition against taking or using government equipment outside of the United States.
• Fingerprint background checks are mandatory.
• Accurate representation of skills and experience is required to maintain eligibility for future requisitions.

• Position duration is from November 16, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
• Remote work with flexibility aligned to Eastern Standard Time zone.
