We are seeking an experienced Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME)one of a client to support Workday-related initiatives, including configuration, implementation, enhancements, integrations, troubleshooting, and application support.
Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday applications and business processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Support Workday configuration, implementation, enhancements, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to address application requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support Workday integrations with internal and external enterprise applications, where applicable.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Maintain functional documentation, process flows, and configuration records.
- Recommend process improvements and Workday best practices.
- 8–10+ years of overall experience, including hands-on Workday experience.
- Strong experience in Workday configuration, implementation, enhancements, or production support.
- Good understanding of Workday functionality and business processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Workday certification in relevant modules.
- Experience with Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, Integrations, Reporting, or Security.
- Experience supporting enterprise implementations or transformation initiatives.
