Reporting / Migration Analyst (Excel & Power BI)

Location:
Remote/Birmingham | Contract (Inside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Reporting / Migration Analyst to support a system migration programme and help deliver accurate reporting capabilities within a new platform environment.

• Analyse existing reporting processes and replicate or enhance them within the new system.
• Gather business and reporting requirements from key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Translate business needs into clear reporting and data migration solutions.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using Power BI.
• Perform data analysis and validation using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Support migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reporting continuity.
• Work independently and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

• Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst, Migration Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, reporting).
• Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting system implementation, transformation, or migration projects.

• Self-sufficient and proactive.
• Comfortable challenging stakeholders and driving requirements discussions.
• Able to hit the ground running without extensive training or hand-holding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
