Service Now Implementation Specialist - UAT & Training Summary & Responsibilities We are seeking experienced Service Now Implementation Specialists to support a large-scale system implementation from planning through go-live. This is a fully remote, project-based contract ideal for candidates with hands-on Service Now administration or configuration experience, user acceptance testing (UAT) expertise, and a background in training and implementation support. You will play a key role in ensuring the platform functions as intended, users are prepared for the transition, and implementation milestones are completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts; coordinate testing with business users; document defects; and track issues through resolution and retesting. - Training & Documentation:
Create user guides, job aids, quick-reference materials, and administrator documentation. Deliver virtual training and explain technical processes to nontechnical audiences. - Implementation Coordination:
Track project tasks, milestones, and status updates. Maintain requirements documentation, test results, decision logs, and release notes. - Service Now Administration:
Support user and group management, form validation, workflow testing, service catalog testing, and basic configuration activities. - Go-Live Support:
Assist with change management, launch readiness, troubleshooting, and post-launch hypercare support. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work with technical teams, business users, developers, and process owners to resolve issues and support a successful rollout.
- Minimum 2 years of Service Now administration, configuration, or implementation support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Service Now user and group management, forms, workflows, and service catalogs.
- Experience creating and executing UAT test scripts, documenting defects, and validating fixes.
- Experience supporting system implementations through testing and production deployment.
- Experience developing training materials, user guides, or job aids.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Reliable high-speed internet suitable for remote work.
- HR Operations or HR Systems experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience supporting Service Now implementations from planning through go-live.
- Experience delivering virtual or instructor-led training.
- Experience with go-live readiness, change management, or hypercare support.
Pay Rate: $30.69 per hour
Location:
100% remote; no onsite visits required
Contract Dates:
November 9, 2026 - March 26, 2027
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Eastern Time
Contract Type:
Temporary, project-based assignment; not intended as a long-term role
