AI Modeler​/Architect, Biopharma R&D

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of biopharmaceutical innovation. We are seeking an AI Modeler / Architect to revolutionize forecasting and simulation models in biopharma R&D. Leverage your expertise to enhance clinical trial accuracy and drive data-driven decision-making.

This is a remote position based in the United States. As an AI Modeler / Architect, you will develop and validate AI-enabled models, utilizing clinical trial data to improve forecast accuracy and support strategic decisions.

Pay Range: $75 – $85 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Conduct data profiling and use-case-specific data readiness assessments, identifying data quality issues and defining repeatable assessment and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate existing data and forecasting models to establish baseline accuracy, perform error analysis, and identify root causes of prediction failures.
• Train, test, and optimize AI/ML models to improve forecasting accuracy and enable clinical development simulations.
• Define model validation methodologies, performance metrics, acceptance criteria, and reliability standards for functional decision-making.
• Identify missing data sources and data gaps, translating findings into requirements for long-term AI solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of data pipelines, AI/ML infrastructure, and model training and evaluation environments.
• Collaborate with R&D consultants, clinical development teams, data engineers, and functional stakeholders to interpret results and recommend improvements.

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML modeling, predictive analytics, forecasting, and model validation.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python or R and relevant machine learning and statistical modeling libraries.
• Experience with data profiling, model performance evaluation, backtesting, and forecast error analysis.
• Experience working with clinical trial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or other complex scientific datasets.
• Understanding of data governance, model validation frameworks, and AI infrastructure.
