The editorial team tests real workflows, scores tools on a fixed six-factor framework and cross-checks findings against G2, Capterra, Reddit, Product Hunt and Trustpilot. Categories span AI, SEO, marketing, analytics, automation, Word Press, ecommerce and proxies.
SaaSUltra is hiring a Software Reviewer Expert to run hands-on evaluations end to end. You'll sign up for real trials, push tools through real workflows, score them on our six-factor framework, and write reviews that help founders pick software without the vendor brochure tone.
What you'll do
• Test SaaS products hands-on: onboarding, core workflows, edge cases and support response quality
• Score every tool on ease of use, feature depth, pricing fairness, support, integrations and value vs alternatives
• Cross-check findings against patterns on G2, Capterra, Reddit, Product Hunt and Trustpilot
• Write structured reviews and comparison pages with clear "Best for" verdicts and honest cons
• Decode pricing pages (tier gates, add-ons, hidden limits) so readers aren't surprised later
• Flag conflicts: if a tool isn't good enough, we say so even when an affiliate link exists
• Keep reviews updated when pricing or major features change
What we're looking for
• 3+ years using or evaluating SaaS tools (product ops, solutions consulting, agency stack lead, or dedicated review writing)
• Writing samples that show structured product evaluation, not pure marketing copy
• Comfortable living inside trial accounts and documenting what actually broke
• Skeptical streak: you notice when a feature is vaporware
• India-based (remote); strong written English
Nice to have
• Background in SEO, marketing automation, analytics or AI tools (our heaviest categories)
• Experience publishing on review sites or comparison blogs
• Basic spreadsheet skills for feature matrices
