Remote Project Manager - SaaS Implementation

Our client, a globally recognized leader in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, is actively seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of our innovative SaaS products for a diverse international client base. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and client relationship management, enabling them to deliver exceptional project outcomes in a distributed work environment.

This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to excel in a remote-first culture. Based operationally within Durban, Kwa Zulu-Natal , but working entirely remotely, you will be a key player in our client's continued global expansion.

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SaaS implementation projects for clients.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, internal development teams, and support staff.
• Conduct regular project status meetings using virtual collaboration tools.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
• Onboard new clients and guide them through the implementation process.
• Document project progress, key decisions, and lessons learned.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices for remote teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically with SaaS or software implementations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Experience in client-facing roles and managing client expectations.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
