Network Infrastructure Specialist

Our client, a growing telecommunications provider, is seeking a dedicated Network Infrastructure Specialist to join their remote team. • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform regular network maintenance, including software updates and security patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues for internal and external users.
• Ensure the security of the network infrastructure by implementing and managing security measures.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Respond to network alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support overall IT infrastructure goals.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging network technologies.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or network engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with configuring and managing network devices from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network security principles and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, suitable for a remote work environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA are advantageous.
