Senior Sports Technology Integration Specialist

This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge technological solutions into sports performance environments. You will work with clients, including professional sports teams and performance centers, to deploy, configure, and support a range of hardware and software solutions, from athlete tracking systems to data analytics platforms.

This position requires a deep technical understanding, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for sports. As a remote-first role, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa while contributing to revolutionary advancements in sports performance technology.

• Lead the integration, deployment, and configuration of various sports technology solutions for clients.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific technology needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for clients on using the integrated systems effectively.
• Work closely with product development teams to provide feedback on system performance and client requirements.
• Document integration processes, technical specifications, and support procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in sports technology, data analytics, and related fields.
• Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system compatibility and data flow.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support, system integration, or IT consulting, preferably within the sports technology sector.
• Proven experience with sports performance tracking systems, wearable technology, data analytics platforms, and related software.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, cloud computing, and data management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in relevant operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and scripting languages is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
