Senior Devops Engineer; Remote

This role is essential for streamlining and automating our client's software development and deployment lifecycle, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across their cloud-based infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and security. • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
• Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Dev Ops engineers.
• Stay current with emerging Dev Ops tools and methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or related roles.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Power Shell).
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
