Data Scientist - Energy Analytics

• Collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large, complex datasets from various energy sources.
• Developing, training, and deploying machine learning models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
• Performing statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to uncover trends and insights.
• Designing and implementing A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate model performance.
• Visualizing data and model results effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams to define analytical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Staying current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and energy analytics.
• Contributing to the development of data infrastructure and best practices.
• Documenting methodologies, findings, and code for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on analytical modeling and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Pandas).
• Experience with SQL and working with large databases.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience in the energy sector or with energy-related datasets is a significant advantage.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex findings clearly.
