• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models to address complex research challenges.
• Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics and machine learning to drive new research directions and discoveries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and domain specialists, to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for machine learning applications.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering their technical and professional growth.
• Evaluate and benchmark the performance of different models and algorithms.

PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field with a strong focus on machine learning. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in data science and machine learning, with a significant portion in a lead or principal role. Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, time series analysis).

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data visualization. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
