We are seeking an experienced Service Now Engineer for a contract position based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a 6-month contract to start, available on a remote basis. You will work on platform implementations, enhancements, and enterprise-scale initiatives in a hands-on technical role.
Responsibilities- Lead Service Now platform implementations and major enhancement programs
- Design and develop solutions across Service Now modules in enterprise environments
- Mentor developers and administrators on Service Now best practices and technical approaches
- Support governance controls, SDLC processes, and multiple integrations in complex enterprise settings
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Required
- 8–12+ years of overall IT experience
- 5–8+ years of hands-on Service Now experience
- Experience leading platform implementations or major enhancement programs
- Experience mentoring developers and administrators
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with multiple integrations, governance controls, and SDLC processes
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- Preferred
- Experience leading Service Now transformations or platform consolidations
- Experience working with managed service providers and offshore development teams
- Experience supporting regulated organizations with audit, compliance, and security requirements
- At least one Service Now implementation specialist certification:
- CIS-ITSM (Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM)
- CIS-Discovery
- CIS-Service Mapping
- CIS-CMDB / Data Foundations
- CIS-CSM (if customer workflows are in scope)
- CIS-HRSD (if employee workflows are in scope)
