P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.

The Claim Center team is seeking a Business Analyst Intern for summer 2027.Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Documentation Participate in discussions with business and technology partners to understand business needs.

Document requirements, business rules, workflows, and application behavior.

Help identify questions, gaps, and scenarios that should be considered during solution design.

User Story Creation Assist with creating and refining user stories for Claim Center enhancements.

Document acceptance criteria and expected system behavior.

Help break business requirements into clear, testable requirements for development teams.

Application Testing Create and execute test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories.

Test Claim Center functionality and document results.

Identify unexpected application behavior and clearly document defects or questions for the project team.

Participate in regression and user acceptance testing activities.

Application Design & Prototyping Help design and mock up proposed Claim Center screens and workflows.

Work with Business Analysts and developers to consider usability and business process needs.

Participate in design discussions and help document proposed solutions.

Project Collaboration Participate in project meetings, design sessions, demonstrations, and working sessions.

Help maintain project documentation and track open questions or follow-up items.

Gain exposure to the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.

Requirements:

Ability to work in the office at minimum three days a week.

Education:

Pursuing a degree in Business, English, Communications, or related
2029 or 2030 graduation year Experience/skills:

Detail oriented

Familiar with AIQuick learner

Good communicator

Excellent writing skills
