Cloud DevSecOps Engineer III- Remote

Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00per hr.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Dev Sec Ops  Engineer III to support the development, configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of backend process APIs. This role will focus heavily on CI/CD, API deployment, Dev Sec Ops , security, environment configuration, and release management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Harness and Git Hub Actions/Workflows, as well as experience supporting APIs running in Open Shift.

The engineer will work closely with development, security, infrastructure, and other technology teams to coordinate deployments, remediate vulnerabilities, maintain environments, and ensure applications are ready for release.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Dev Sec Ops  engineer who can independently work with Harness, Git Hub Actions/Workflows, and Open Shift while also handling the operational and security responsibilities surrounding API deployments. They should be comfortable with scripting and automation, troubleshooting pipelines, coordinating with multiple technical teams, managing certificates and credentials, tracking vulnerabilities, and helping drive releases from preparation through deployment.

AWS and Azure experience are not currently required. The team may move APIs to AWS in the future, but the current environment is primarily Open Shift.

• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for backend process APIs.
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines using Harness.
• Build and maintain Git Hub Actions / Git Hub Workflows for application builds and deployments.
• Manage and perform certificate rotation and renewal, including annual certificate updates.
• Maintain service accounts and coordinate annual credential rotations.
• Support vulnerability remediation, including tracking vulnerabilities through closure and coordinating with third-party and internal teams.
• Perform environment setup and readiness activities for API deployments.
• Support Vault integration and secrets management.
• Assist with infrastructure requests, including provisioning new servers and coordinating with infrastructure teams.
• Develop and maintain release pipelines, release playbooks, and runbooks.
• Plan, coordinate, and support application releases and deployments.
• Work closely with development, security, infrastructure, online banking, mobile banking, and other technology teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Dev Sec Ops  and deployment-related issues.
• Support APIs running in Open Shift environments.
• Help ensure applications and environments meet security and operational requirements.

• Four (4) years of relevant Dev Sec Ops  experience
• Harness + Git Hub Actions/Workflows + Open Shift
• Strong experience creating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Harness CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience using Harness for application deployment is required.
• Strong experience with Git Hub Actions and/or Git Hub Workflows.
• Ability to create and maintain automated CI/CD workflows.
• Experience supporting applications/APIs deployed and running in Open Shift environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline development.
• Experience automating builds, deployments, and release processes.
• Experience managing, renewing, and rotating application/security certificates.
• Understanding of certificate lifecycle management and security requirements.
• Experience managing service accounts.
• Experience with credential/password/token rotation processes.

• AWS / AWS Dev Ops
• Hashi Corp Vault or similar secrets-management platforms
• API development or API platform experience
