What makes this opportunity interesting?
  • 100% remote position with a successful, established global company.
  • Opportunity to make an immediate impact by improving backlog management, prioritization, and development processes.
  • Work closely with experienced leadership and a variety of business and technology teams.
  • A role where your understanding of business needs, data quality, and product ownership is just as valuable as your technical knowledge.

We are working with a highly successful, global manufacturing and technology company that is continuing to make significant investments in its enterprise data management capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Stibo / MDM Product Owner to join an established organization where product data, data quality, and master data management are important business priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the product backlog for the company's Stibo / MDM environment, ensuring development priorities align with business objectives.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate those needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Use Jira to organize, prioritize, track, and manage development tickets, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and other technology teams to keep projects moving and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Help improve data quality, product information management, and overall MDM processes.
  • Support Agile development activities, release planning, and communication of project progress to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and make the development process more efficient.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally supporting Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), or enterprise data initiatives.
  • Experience with Stibo STEP is highly desirable, although candidates with experience using other MDM platforms, including Profisee or similar solutions, will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of data management, data quality, and data governance concepts.
  • Hands-on experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and working with Jira.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and technical development teams to turn business requirements into successful solutions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, product data, or enterprise data environments is a plus.

You do not need to be a deeply technical Stibo developer or architect. We're looking for someone who understands data management, is strong at product ownership, and knows how to bring business and technology teams together to get things done.
