As a Linux Administrator specializing in migration projects at Futurex Solutions on a fully remote basis, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise Linux administration, server migrations, patching cycles, storage management, and disaster recovery execution. Your day-to-day responsibilities include administering RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Rocky Linux environments, planning and executing server, OS, data center, and cloud migrations, automating routine administrative tasks using Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible, monitoring system performance, and developing comprehensive migration runbooks, cutover plans, and rollback procedures.

• Administer, support, optimize, and secure enterprise Linux operating system environments including RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Rocky Linux.
• Plan, architect, and execute complex server, operating system, data center, and cloud migration projects with zero downtime.
• Perform routine Linux installations, advanced configurations, system patching, kernel upgrades, and deep-dive troubleshooting.
• Manage enterprise storage volumes, file systems, backup routines, replication schedules, and disaster recovery frameworks.
• Automate routine administrative tasks, deployment workflows, and provisioning cycles using Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance metrics, security logs, resource utilization, and high-availability clusters.
