Business Application Analysts - Student Position

Seeking a student employee with a desire to gain technology administration experience to join the IT department’s Business Systems Administration team. This is currently a remote position with occasional on-campus commitments but is subject to change. Under the guidance of full‑time OIT Application Administration employee, student employees will provide support with granting access, script maintenance, patching, and documentation of basic functionality changes.

  • Provides technical assistance to students, staff, and faculty by troubleshooting software or hardware issues, maintaining IT systems, and offering solutions to ensure smooth technological operations across the University.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Enrolled for classes at Ohio University, Hocking College, another post‑secondary education institution, or a secondary school during the current semester, immediate previous semester, or immediate upcoming semester.
• Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools.
• Departments may have specific minimum requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Must be enrolled in classes at Ohio University (Undergraduate Minimum – six credit hours, Graduate Minimum – five credit hours), Hocking College (Minimum – six credit hours) or a local area secondary school during the normal academic year.

• Working Condition/Physical Demands:
