IAM & SAP Security Manager - Remote

REKRUITD is partnering with an organization seeking an experienced IAM & SAP Security Manager for a remote opportunity leading enterprise identity, access governance, and SAP Security initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep SAP Security expertise along with strong experience across Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance (IGA), and Microsoft identity technologies. The ideal candidate has worked in a complex enterprise environment and can balance technical leadership, security governance, audit requirements, and team oversight.

• Lead and advance enterprise IAM, identity governance, SAP Security, privileged access, and access certification programs.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP Security across ECC and S/4
  
  HANA, including roles, authorizations, segregation of duties (SoD), and security controls.
• Oversee and mature SAP GRC Access Control processes and related governance activities.
• Lead Microsoft Entra  Entra  capabilities, including access reviews, entitlement management, privileged identity management, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Drive improvements and automation around joiner/mover/leaver (JML) processes across enterprise applications and platforms.
• Strengthen role-based access, least-privilege, privileged access, and identity governance controls.
• Partner with SAP, Security, Infrastructure, HR, Audit, and business teams on IAM and access-related initiatives.
• Support IAM and SAP Security requirements related to internal/external audits, regulatory controls, and remediation activities.
• Provide IAM/SAP Security leadership for enterprise technology initiatives, system changes, upgrades, and transformation efforts.
• Lead internal IAM resources and provide oversight of third-party and offshore security support teams.
• Establish priorities, operating standards, and roadmaps while communicating program status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

• Extensive enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience.
• Deep hands-on SAP Security experience with ECC and S/4
  
  HANA.
• Strong experience with SAP GRC Access Control, role design, authorizations, SoD, and security governance.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra , Entra , and Active Directory.
• Experience with identity governance, access reviews, privileged access, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience designing or improving automated joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Experience supporting IAM/SAP Security audits, controls, and remediation efforts.
• Previous leadership experience, including oversight of internal and/or outsourced technical teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical, business, audit, and leadership teams.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• IAM, security, Microsoft, or SAP-related certifications are preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP or identity transformation initiatives is a plus.
