Freelance Software Tester testing; Remote in Germany & Netherlands

Hi there! We are Testlio, a global software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies across the globe. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work.

At the moment, we are looking for freelance software testers based in Germany & the Netherlands to participate in a moderated Usability study for one of our clients, a global financial technology company. More specifically, you will be a great fit for this study if you regularly send money to India and have experience using money transfer apps to send funds to India/ Indian Bank accounts.

We’re very interested in hearing your feedback, as this will help our client improve their own app, further impacting thousands of global customers.

  You can create your schedule and work on other testing runs that interest you.
• Location:
  
  Testlio is a 100% remote company. Seriously, you can work from the coffee shop, your home, or while waiting for class.
• Growth:
  You’ll be testing global-scale mobile apps and have the chance to boost your skills and grow your career.
• Payment:
  You are paid by the hour, not by the bug. This means you get paid even if you did not uncover any bugs.

• Age:
  You have to be at least 18 years old.
• Location:
  
  Must be physically located in Germany or the Netherlands. The use of a VPN is prohibited.
• Language:
  Must at least be comfortable speaking English. Some knowledge of German and Dutch is also ideal.
• Availability: 1.5 hours needed for the study.
• Devices:
  Laptop/ PC + iPhone/ Android Phone.
• Experience:
  
  Digitally sending money to people in India/Indian bank accounts.
• App Usage:
  Have never used the Wise app before.

• Type of testing:
  Moderated Usability study.
• Type of work:
  One time study. This is not a recurring project.
• Type of test:
  You will meet 1:1 with a Testlio UX Researcher at a specified time for a live remote video call with your camera on and share your device’s screen to complete your testing.

During the live testing session, you will be asked about how you currently send money from your country to India, including the services and methods you typically use. Then, you will make a real money transfer of about $20 using the application we are testing and share your thoughts and feedback as you go. We are interested in understanding what feels clear or unclear, what you expect throughout the experience, and your overall impressions.

About the Money Transfer:
The $20 you will send will during the test will be to one of our trusted Test Leads. They will send the money back to you within ~1 business day to your paypal account.

Recording:
Please note we will be recording this live testing session for research and analysis purposes. We will redact any sensitive PII information.
