Our client, a top-tier IT Consulting firm, isseeking an experienced Git Hub Dev Ops Solutions Architect to join their Applications Modernization Team. In this pre-sales role, you will collaborate with Microsoft and Git Hub account teams to drive business opportunities and help clients maximize the efficiency of their software development processes using Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops. You will leverage your expertise in Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, and modern development practices to deliver compelling solutions, conduct workshops, and lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert in Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, and related Dev Ops tools and practices, providing technical guidance and solutions to clients across various sectors.
• Engage with Microsoft and Git Hub account teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of our client pipeline.
• Conduct technical assessments, workshops, and PoC projects to demonstrate the capabilities of Git Hub offerings, such as Git Hub Copilot and Git Hub Launch Pad, in an Azure Dev Ops environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and developers, to design and implement modern software development solutions leveraging Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops.
• Contribute to the development of reusable architecture patterns, templates, and frameworks for Dev Ops solutions on Git Hub and Azure.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including opportunity identification, solution design, and proposal development.
• Support the sales team in technical discussions and solution demonstrations with prospective clients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, and related technologies, and share knowledge with the team and clients.
• Leverage your coding skills (.NET, C#) to build and demonstrate solutions in an Azure Dev Ops environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, Dev Ops, and cloud technologies, with a strong focus on Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops.
• Proven expertise in Git Hub and its offerings
• Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET and C#, and experience with Azure Dev Ops pipelines and practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in consulting or professional services environments, with a track record of successful client engagements and project delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for client meetings and on-site engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional Dev Ops tools and frameworks, such as Jenkins, Harness, and Angular.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cloud-native application development practices.
• Previous experience working with Microsoft or Git Hub, or in a consulting role focused on Git Hub and Dev Ops solutions.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Git Hub Certifications).
