Sr. Reporting and System Administration Specialist; Remote in AZ

This position is Remote within the state of AZ only. This Remote work opportunity requires residency, and work to be performed, within the State of Arizona.

The Senior Reporting and System Administration Specialist serves as the department’s subject matter expert for reporting, analytics, and systems. This role leads reporting modernization through advanced analytics, automation, AI-enabled technologies, and reporting governance to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

The Senior Specialist anticipates reporting needs for business areas and vendor partners, develops actionable insights for leadership, and drives continuous improvement through innovation, technology adoption, and reporting best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience

• Three years of experience in reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence, including the development of recurring and ad hoc reports.
• Four years of experience in systems administration, database administration, reporting automation, or related technical support.
• Experience leading complex reporting requests, system changes, data validation efforts, or cross-functional reporting improvements.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED in a general field of study.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Work Experience

• Six years of experience in reporting, data analytics, business intelligence, database administration, network administration, or systems administration.
• Experience with dashboard development, data visualization, report automation, data-quality controls, and reporting governance.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems administration, data analytics, business analytics, or a closely related field.
