Security Consulting Engineer; Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Security Consulting Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will partner closely with enterprise customers to design and deliver secure network solutions that improve resilience, simplify operations, and strengthen protection across cloud and on-premises environments.

The position combines hands‑on technical consulting, solution validation, and implementation support with a strong emphasis on customer outcomes and trusted advisory relationships.

You will collaborate across engineering and security teams to troubleshoot complex issues, influence design decisions, and help ensure successful deployment and adoption of security capabilities.

Compensation: $131,100 – $172,100 annually

• Lead and report on security services engagements with key customers.
• Deliver security solutions independently and as part of a team of engineers.
• Design, document, validate, pilot, deploy, and automate security solutions.
• Provide ongoing support to help maximize customer value from deployed solutions.
• Evaluate and present alternative designs to influence outcomes effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and security issues for customers.
• Support collaboration within the security practice and across internal groups.

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT consulting, and systems integration with large enterprises.
• Expertise in enterprise firewall deployments in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency in VPN technologies and secure client solutions.
• Experience with SASE and secure access solutions.
• Solid knowledge of identity‑based network security controls, with hands‑on experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver automation artifacts using common frameworks and APIs.
• Strong understanding of secure design principles and TCP/IP protocols.
