Remote Aviation Systems Analyst

Our client, a global provider of aviation data solutions, is looking for a highly analytical Remote Aviation Systems Analyst to join their distributed team. This position focuses on analyzing complex aviation systems data to identify trends, optimize operations, and provide strategic insights for our clients. You will work with large datasets related to flight operations, maintenance, and air traffic control, utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques.

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of aviation systems data from various sources.
• Perform in-depth analysis of operational data, including flight performance, efficiency, safety, and maintenance logs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast future operational needs or potential issues.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the analysis process.
• Stay current with advancements in data analytics tools and techniques relevant to the aviation industry.
• Document analytical methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aviation Management, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a significant portion focused on the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, Num Py), R, SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of aviation operations, regulations, and industry challenges.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience with machine learning techniques is a plus.
