Software Systems Engineer

Make a difference in the lives of others with ITility . ITility is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency program. This is a remote position working on eastern time. This position is a part of a proposal, and we are looking to identify Key Personnel by November 1st, but that date is subject to change. • Analyze system requirements and design changes to existing applications and components
• Modify, build, test and deploy software fixes and enhancements
• Troubleshoot complex system and performance issues across application, database and infrastructure layers
• Support security patching, vulnerability remediation and technology refresh
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and design records

• Active Secret Clearance
• Eight (8) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology)
• IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) investigation, in place at proposal submission
• Available to start on 4 January 2027 and willing to sign a Letter of Commitment

• Experience engineering DLA or other DoD enterprise systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform computer-based work using standard office equipment.
• Requires frequent verbal communication, active listening, and visual acuity to perform job responsibilities effectively.
• Must follow site-specific safety, security, and dress standards.
