Independent Consultancy - Technical Planning and Coordination; Remote

The role supports the Open Energy Research and Analytics Consortium by leading technical planning and coordination for a shared data infrastructure. It owns facilitation, project management, and technical analysis across five member organizations during a 12 month foundational phase.

• Facilitate planning meetings, prepare agendas, guide consensus, and document decisions among five member organizations.
• Interview data leads to assess assets, workflows, and priority user needs.
• Define priority users and access patterns for the platform and ensure input from all members.
• Develop an integrated workplan with milestones, dependencies, and responsibilities across members.
• Coordinate with the ORA Secretariat and GEM on communications and data hub proof of concept.
• Draft a technical and governance roadmap and co author the consortium plan with the members.

• Experience in facilitating multi stakeholder technical planning and governance coordination.
• Strong project management skills with ability to track progress, risks, and decisions.
• Background in data infrastructure, data mapping, schemas, and metadata documentation.
• Ability to synthesize technical options and produce implementation ready plans.
• Ability to work with cross disciplinary teams and document outcomes clearly.
• Experience with AI readiness or AI friendly data presentation is a plus.
