Product manager for database security

Click House is an open-source project and cloud database company focused on real-time analytics. It develops core database capabilities and cloud-native extensions for developers and data analysts.

• Understand the real-time analytics and cloud database markets, competition, and technology trends
• Engage with the open-source user community and Click House Cloud customers to understand current and aspirational use cases for the core database
• Distill and prioritize feature requests and issues into clear priorities for new capabilities and improvements
• Work with engineering teams to scope and refine solutions to customer problems in the core database and Click House Cloud offerings
• Set measurable customer success goals and use data-driven approaches to ensure new capabilities meet customer needs
• Monitor the market and competitive landscape to identify needed features and improvements aligned with the roadmap and requests from the community and customers
• Work with partners to grow Click House awareness and visibility

• Proven experience with database security principles and best practices
• Knowledge of and passion for data engineering markets, including data warehousing, data analytics, security, and observability
• Strong vision for the direction of these markets and what it takes to become a leader in this space
• Deep technical experience with Click House or a closely related OLAP technology
• Passion for building powerful, easy-to-use enterprise capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to business needs
• Ability and desire to work with customers or community members, providing technical guidance and support during their POC

• Previous contributions to open-source projects, engineering experience (ideally in distributed/cloud systems in C++), experience working remotely in a global, distributed organization

• Compensation: $170K – $242K
